Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Srijan Karyakram Yojana The Prime Minister Employment Generation programme is the credit subsidy programme. It is the credit linked subsidy programme and this scheme is combination of Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) and Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP).

Under this scheme, employment facilities will provide for unemployed people. The main intention of the scheme is providing the jobs, projects, employment ventures, and micro enterprises in both rural and urban areas providing the self-employment for citizens

  • Applying candidate has above 18 years of age
  • And the candidate must pass the 8th class pass certificate to get loan above Rs 10 lakh in the manufacturing sector and Rs 5 lakh for service or business sector
  • Any candidate who belong to self-help groups and BPL
  • Charitable trusts and co-operative societies can also apply this scheme
  • Under the societies registration act of 1860 institutions can register

Prime Minister employment generation money subsidy details:

For the general category candidates own contribution 10% from project cost and rate of subsidy 15% for urban and 25% for rural areas

And for Special SC, ST. OBC, Women, Minorities, Ex-servicemen, tribe candidates the beneficiary contribution amount is 05% of the total project cost and rate of subsidy given 35% for rural and 25% for urban areas

Scheduled Castes (SCs), Ex-servicemen Scheduled Tribes (STs), People from the North-eastern states, Other Backward Classes (OBCs,), Minorities, People living in border areas and hills and Women
